Song and Dance (Current body of work)

Each year I grow older, I can’t help but feel I’m entering my second childhood. Though life progressively demands my attention, braveness, restraint, and the like, I find myself joyous, light hearted, and playful just as I once was when I was 9 or 16. Every mark I place bears insecurity, resentment, anger.. fear; emotions that propel and hold me back simultaneously. Growing pains you could say. The only way through is to play just as a child does— bump my head, get up, and try it again.
